Hi-Alpine terms and conditions
It is the responsibility of the Client to read the terms and booking conditions before making a booking with Hi-Alpine. The Client (must be 18 or over) is the person making and completing the booking details on behalf of all those in the party who will occupy the apartment for the holiday rental period.
1. How to Book
To make a booking the Client must complete the booking form either in writing,
by email or by telephoning
+44 (0)1284 850 467. A contract will only exist when the full booking details
have been completed and the payment of a 30% deposit of the full rental
fee, or when a booking is made within 10 weeks of the rental booking; full
payment is required.
2. Terms of Payment
Bookings will only be confirmed once a payment of 30% of the cost of the
booking or the full payment (if the booking is made within 10 weeks of the
commencement of the rental). The balance of the payment is due 8 weeks before
arrival. The Client is responsible for the payment of all persons identified
in the booking details. If payments are not made within the time periods
indicated, Hi-Alpine reserve the right to cancel the booking without further
notice and to levy an appropriate cancellation charge. Confirmation in writing
will be sent to the Client once the deposit is received, please check that
the details are correct.
3. Access to the Property
Checking in time will be between 4pm and 10pm. The apartment must be vacated
by 10am on the day of departure. Any changes to the above times must be
agreed with Hi-Alpine's agent.
4. Alteration or Cancellation
Any changes to the confirmed rental must be notified to Hi-Alpine by email
or letter, should the change/s be possible an amendment fee of £50 may be
payable or any other costs incurred by Hi-Alpine. Cancellation charges outlined
below will apply:

Whilst it is unlikely that Hi-Alpine will need to alter or cancel a confirmed
booking it does reserve the right
to do so. Should such a change be required the Client will be offered compensation
or a full refund unless
the reason for the change is totally out of the control of Hi-Alpine e.g.
war, riot, civil strife, natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions.
5. Accuracy of information
Hi-Alpine will strive to ensure that the information on its Website and
in written form is accurate and is always given in good faith. Errors can
occur and descriptions are subjective. Should the Client have particular
concerns about details they should always consult with Hi-Alpine to seek
clarification.
6. Damage and nuisance by the client
A deposit of '£150 or the equivalent in euros is payable upon arrival in cash to cover any loss or damage. Any breakages must be reported and the client is strongly
recommended to examine the inventory at the start of the rental. The apartment must be left in a clean and tidy condition and any excessive cleaning required will be
charged to the client at £20 per hour. The apartment is in a mixed residential apartment building so we ask all clients to be aware of others and ensure there is no
undue noise or disruption to others in the apartment block. Should Hi-Alpine learn that complaints have been made we reserve the right to retain the deposit as compensation
to those affected.
If use of the garage is required; to cover the possible loss of the garage fob, a deposit of 150 euros is payable (by card) on arrival to our manager. This will be refunded to you after the keys are checked on/after departure by the manager.
7. Keys and Security
Keys are provided for the apartment and access to the apartment building is via an access code which will be given to you by the manager on arrival.
If use of the garage is required; to cover the possible loss of the garage fob, a deposit of 150 euros is payable (by card) on arrival to our manager.
This will be refunded to you after the keys are checked on/after departure by the manager. All the Client/s
personal items including luggage and equipment are at all times and in all
circumstances the responsibility of their owner/s and Hi-Alpine cannot take
responsibility for any loss or damage to such items.
8. Children
The Client must take responsibility for the behaviour and welfare of all
children in the party. Every attempt is made by Hi-Alpine to ensure that
the apartment is safe for all using it and children staying in the apartment
do so at the Client's own risk.
9. Insurances
Other than buildings insurance on the property Hi-Alpine provides no other
insurance cover, all clients are therefore strongly recommended to have
full travel insurance cover.
10. Limit of Liability
In the event that Hi-Alpine are found liable on any basis whatever our maximum
liability to the client is the cost of the booking.
11. No smoking is allowed in the apartment.
